Vision of Science

Organizing a Learning Development Program, Mathematical Competence, Media and Teaching Materials Based on Research to Produce Superior Graduates with National Insight and Entrepreneurial Character in 2030.

Academic Degree :

Master of Education ( M.Pd. )
Mathematics Learning Development refers to efforts to expand, improve, and deepen understanding and the ability to apply the principles, methods, and theories underlying mathematics teaching and learning through the design of innovative methods, strategies, and approaches including the use of technology to adapt learning.
Mathematical Competence Development refers to efforts to expand, improve, and deepen abilities or skills, which must be mastered in the field of mathematics. This includes the ability to understand, use, and apply mathematical concepts or principles in various contexts. Mathematical competence includes aspects of developing contextual problem-solving skills, using technology, providing feedback, and collaborative learning. The development of Mathematical science includes aspects of exploring mathematical concepts, research innovation, and improving mathematical concept teaching skills.
Media and teaching materials development is an effort to develop tools or materials used in the learning process to help students understand the material more effectively. Media can be visual, audio, video, or digital tools such as applications or software. Teaching materials include books, modules, or worksheets that are specifically developed according to curriculum needs.
Research-based shows that every component in this study program, from learning development, media, to teaching materials, must be based on strong research. The research-based approach ensures that the learning program that is prepared is the result of scientific studies, is relevant, up-to-date, and has a solid theoretical basis. This also means that students and lecturers are encouraged to conduct research that will improve the quality of mathematics education.
Excellent graduates refer to students who have completed their education with outstanding achievements both at national and global levels with adequate mastery of hard skills and soft skills so that they have competitive competencies in the world of work, in entrepreneurial activities, and in further studies.
Entrepreneurial character refers to traits and behaviors that reflect an entrepreneurial spirit in everyday actions and decision-making. Individuals with entrepreneurial character not only have the desire to develop a business or project, but also demonstrate traits that support the entrepreneurial journey such as innovative and creative, independence and initiative, flexible and adaptive, and never give up.
